Kate Middleton has revealed her 'special' place with Prince William as the royal couple prepare for an exciting Christmas Eve

Kate Middleton reveals 'special' place that she shares with Prince William ahead of her exciting new solo project.
- Kate Middleton has spoken about the 'special place' she shares with Prince William.
- The Duchess of Cambridge made a brief reference to her wedding in a recent post about her new solo project.
- In other royal news, the royal family's Christmas dinner isn't actually that glam, says one of the firm.
Kate Middleton is not known for being the gushing type, so fans were surprised when she made a sweet reference to her wedding when discussing her new upcoming project.
In a post about her upcoming gig hosting a carol concert in London, Kate wrote in the caption, "I’m so excited to be hosting Together at Christmas here at Westminster Abbey, a place that’s really special to William and me."
Westminster Abbey is of course special to the royal couple as it was the location of their royal wedding in 2011. The couple has now been married for more than a decade and celebrated their 10 year anniversary earlier this year by releasing new photographs to the public.
As well as being the couple's wedding location, Westminster Abbey was also where Her Majesty the Queen married the Duke of Edinburgh in 1947.
Other members of the royal family including the Queen's late sister Princess Margaret, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne, and Princess Alexandra were also married at this iconic church.

In the rest of the caption, the Duchess spoke about her upcoming project 'Together at Christmas' which is due to broadcast on Christmas Eve.

Together at Christmas is a carol concert hosted by the Duchess herself. While fulfilling her hosting duties, Kate made an emotional speech and spoke about the hardships of the past year during the pandemic.
Although the first glance of the Christmas carol concert confused fans, many are still very excited about this upcoming project and are particularly impressed that Kate has managed to unite members of the royal family for this event.
The royal family was publicly reunited for the first time since Prince Philip's death in order to support the Duchess of Cambridge at this event. As well as being joined by the likes of her royal cousins-in-law, the Duchess was also supported by her parents and siblings who made an effort to support the Duchess in one of her most high-profile solo royal engagements.
