How Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will celebrate their first Thanksgiving with Lilibet
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed how they will spend their daughter Lilibet's first Thanksgiving along with their son Archie

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to California in 2020 and have since celebrated all the traditional US holidays, including Thanksgiving—but how will the royal couple be celebrating this year?
- Earlier this year in June 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan welcomed a daughter who they named Lilibet after the Queen.
- The couple will be celebrating their first Thanksgiving with both their son Archie and their daughter Lilibet.
- In other royal news, Kate Middleton's connection to Princess Diana's nursery school days has been revealed.
Recently Meghan Markle appeared on The Ellen Show. On the show, Meghan revealed Lilibet's adorable nickname and some of her most recent milestones as she chatted to the host excitedly about the family's upcoming Thanksgiving day plans.
This will be Lilibet's first Thanksgiving celebration and will be the second time the family has been able to spend the holiday together in the US since their move to Montecito, California.
Ellen asked the Duchess of Sussex, "So Thanksgiving dinner, will you cook? because I know you do love to cook."
The Duchess said, "Yes, I love to cook, we'll be at home and just relax and sort of settle in. It's our second Thanksgiving at home in California, so it will be nice."
The host then jokingly asked, "What time shall I show up?" Meghan quickly played along and told the host, "whatever time you want, come on over."
Although Ellen was joking, Prince Harry and Meghan have been invited to surprising Thanksgiving plans with A-list celebrities in the past. However, the couple has always opted to spend time just as a family together.

Although Meghan has promised to cook the Thanksgiving feast, it seems like this won't be such a chore for the Duchess who has often spoken about her love of cooking.
Even in 2017, when Prince Harry and Meghan first announced their engagement, the couple shared that Harry had popped the question while they were at home just the two of them, roasting a chicken.
"It happened a few weeks ago, earlier this month, here at our cottage; just a standard typical night for us," Prince Harry said in the BBC interview.
"Just a cozy night, what were we doing? Just roasting chicken and having dinner?" added Meghan.
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, then joked that as he was cooking it was more like "trying to" roast a chicken.
Fortunately, Meghan promised to take the reigns this Thanksgiving as the couple prepares to celebrate the American holiday together. So hopefully their roast turkey will fair better than Harry's chicken!
