Wordle 464 has infuriated a number of players who struggled to solve the five-letter word challenge and are questioning what the word means

Wordle 464 has proven to be a difficult challenge for a number of Wordle players who were unable to solve this tricky challenge on Monday, September 26, 2022.

Wordle has been known to throw players a few curveballs, and words such as; leerycoylyquart, and agape have caused a lot of frustration for fans in the past. Yet again on Monday, September 26, fans were completely stumped by yet another tricky challenge.

On September 26, wordle fans were frustrated by the word 'brisk' which proved to be a tough challenge for players to figure out. This is because typically because a lot of five-letter words have the middle three letters, so there were a variety of words that could have been a possible solution. 

Many players took to social media to complain about the difficulty of this challenge. "Hard one today Wordle 464 4/6," said one player. "#Wordle464 I don't like Mondays," said another who struggled to solve the challenge.

"Wordle 464 6/6 This one comes with a dash of torture!!!" said another dramatic player. "#Wordle464 5/6 So frustrating, when you are so close !" added yet another disappointed fan.

Brisk meaning

Some fans struggled to solve this challenge because they were unfamiliar with the word 'brisk.' The word is not uncommon but for many people, it is not a word that appears in their everyday vocabulary. So what does the word 'brisk' mean?

The Cambridge dictionary defines the word 'brisk' as 'quick, energetic, and active'. The word is most commonly used to describe a pace of walking, for example, 'a brisk walk' or 'he set a brisk pace and we struggled to keep up'. 

Alternatively, the word can also be used to describe a person's attitude, for example, 'her tone on the phone was brisk and businesslike'. Meaning that the person spoke quickly and used few words.
