Jennifer Aniston responds to baby adoption rumors
Jennifer Aniston has just given a response to the adoption rumors that have been circulating recently
For years there have been rumors about Jennifer Aniston’s personal life, and once again the star has had to respond to a baby story.
TMZ reported that Jennifer was looking into adopting a child, and suddenly the world was convinced that she was about to become a first-time mother. This came after the announcement that the Friends reunion had wrapped up its filming and the rumors started that Jennifer had taken that opportunity to tell her Friends co-stars about her “news”.
Closer reported from an “insider” that “Jen felt the reunion was the perfect time to make her baby announcement to the whole gang. While the girls already knew – as they see each other regularly – she thought it would be special to tell the boys when they were all together, as she rarely sees them these days due to their busy lives and work commitments.” Closer went on to say, “They were all overjoyed when she told them – giving her parenting advice, which she said she’d happily take on once she was settled in.”

Jennifer’s representative has just squashed these rumors by telling TMZ, “rumors of Jennifer being in the process of adopting a child are ‘false and never happened.’”
Jennifer has recently discussed how frustrating it is to be constantly subjected to discussions about marriage and babies. She told Elle in 2019 that she found the constant interest in her personal life belittles her achievements as an actress. Jennifer said, it’s “diminishing everything I have succeeded at, and that I have built and created.”
She continued to say, “It’s such a shallow lens that people look through. It’s the only place to point a finger at me as though it’s my damage – like it’s some sort of a scarlet letter on me that I haven’t yet procreated, or maybe won’t ever procreate.”

Fans of Jennifer have reacted very strongly to this false piece of news and have taken to social media to share their disgust. One fan said, “Women don't have to reproduce to have happy and fulfilling lives! We’re not baby factories and babies are the most interesting thing about us. Jennifer Aniston has done amazing things and continues to be one of the biggest film stars, focus on that!”
Another fan said,” I’m sure she simply chose not to have children but imagine if she couldn’t have children and the media constantly obsess over when she will be a mother. It is so tone-deaf when so many women (& men) suffer with poor fertility. Constant obsessions are another kick in stomach.”
