Prince Harry may be returning to the UK in 2021 for a series of events which are very close to his heart.

Why is Prince Harry returning?

The coronavirus pandemic delayed Prince Harry's annual Invictus Games, meaning it's now set to take place in 2021.

The Games will be held in the Netherlands, meaning Harry and Meghan would be returning to Europe.

So it is likely they would also visit the UK.

Royal commentator Lizzie Robinson told ITV's Royal Rota podcast, "While Frogmore is laying empty at the moment, Harry said himself that they would have come over had it not been for COVID, and they would have been using it.

"Presumably he is coming over to Europe for next year's Invictus Games.

"They're still going ahead in the Hague in the Netherlands.

"You would expect to see him there, but I guess everything is still up in the air."

Meghan and Harry have paid back the British taxpayer for the Frogmore renovations, but they can still return to the property whenever they wish.

The Sussexes stepped down from senior royal duties in March and relocated to Canada with their one-year-old son Archie.

But as the coronavirus pandemic gripped the globe, they moved to LA, where Meghan grew up.

They have just bought their first family home in Santa Barbara.

Meanwhile, the couple have been attending royal engagements via video calls during lockdown.

We can't wait to have you back, Meghan and Harry!
