Diana, Princess of Wales' brother Charles Spencer has given fans an update on the 'glorious' transformation of her childhood home at Althorp House.
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has seen stately homes temporarily close their doors to members of the public but royal fans who would normally wander around the grounds of Althorp House in July and August have been kept updated with its ongoing transformation.
Charles Spencer, the younger brother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, stunned fans with his video of the grounds to their childhood home Althorp House. He uploaded the video to Twitter and captioned it, 'A glorious sight this morning,' as it showed a beautiful pink sunrise and snow-sprinkled grounds.

And fans were delighted with the results. One fan wrote, 'Brilliant footage... It was an unbelievable light show. Snow could be coming our way!' Another fan said, 'Ah, so lovely. Thank you for all your tweets. With not being able to get out and about at the moment, it’s like having outdoors, indoors.' And a third fan added, 'How beautiful to wake up to and birdsong as well.'
Earl Spencer, also gave fans a look at the snow-covered grounds later and added, 'Snow dusting the trees on the way to West Lodge, at @AlthorpHouse.'
To which some fans suggested he publish a book of images taken within the grounds.

It's not the first time Charles has shared the beauty of the estate with fans. Last autumn, he posted a snap of the immense lake at the country estate, showing six swans gliding along the calm water.
Charles once shared an eerie story about Princess Diana's childhood home with fans.
And most recently Charles reflected on the sadness of losing one of his beloved childhood trees.
He captioned the snap, 'An old friend. I’ve known this tree for decades since it started to die. It’s as beautiful now - to me - as when it was in its pomp.'

Charles inherited Althorp House from his father and continues to live at the Northamptonshire estate with his wife Karen and their eight-year-old daughter, Lady Charlotte Diana Spencer.
He always pays tribute to his late sister Diana on her birthday.
In normal circumstances, Althorp is open to the public on selected days in July and August but it is not yet known whether it will be able to re-open its doors this year.
