Regé-Jean Page reenacted a steamy Bridgerton scene with SNL alum Leslie Jones

Audiences got the "Snyder Cut" of this famous scene

Saturday Night Live alum Leslie Jones made her MTV Movie & TV Awards hosting debut over the weekend and completely stole the show.

In the past, the awards show put on musical performances from some of our favorite stars, but this year it was up to Leslie to provide the entertainment. She was up for the challenge, though, and arguably outdid herself.

To keep the night interesting, Leslie kept the audience laughing with parody skits from breakout shows like WandaVision and everyone's favorite Regency-era drama, Bridgerton.

It's no secret that Bridgerton has some of the raunchiest sex scenes on Netflix, and the comedian made sure to bring the heat with her Bridgerton-inspired skit. Enlisting the help of Regé-Jean Page (who also took home the award for best breakthrough performance that night) to one of the most famous sex scenes from the show.

Showing off her most elegant Victorian-era gown and voluminous white wig, Leslie replaced Phoebe Dynevor as Regé's love interest to reenact the famous "I burn for you" scene from season one.

"I am yours, Leslie,” Regé said as he began to remove his clothing.

“Wait, wait, wait, wait, you're going too fast. We're not doing this justice. We need one of them long a** Zach Snyder cuts,” Leslie replied, in reference to the four-hour-long director's cut of the 2017 superhero movie Justice Leauge, which was released to fans in March.

The scene then continues but this time in slow-motion, capturing every emotion and movement from the character. The buildup even causes Leslie's wig to "quake" in anticipation as she takes in everything.

Unlike in the actual Bridgerton though, Lady Whistledown (unfortunately not voiced by Julie Andrews) cuts the scene off before it gets too steamy saying, "I will spare you the rest, dear reader. It goes on like that for an agonizing four hours.”

And in true Leslie fashion, she quips back with a sassy response of her own, “Mind your own business Lady Whistledown, you gossipy b*tch.”

This may be the last time Regé takes on the role of the Duke as it came out that he will not be returning for season two of the breakout Netflix show. As we continue to mourn his exit from the show, we can look forward to a new season filled with Bridgerton's familiar faces, drama, romance, and, of course, a whole lot of gossip.
