SodaStream Genesis vs Fizzi: Which is best?

Not sure whether to invest in the SodaStream Fizzi or Genesis?

If you're short on space, the Fizzi is SodaStream's slimmest, most compact model. It requires a manual pump action to create fizzy water, and is compatible with both the Slim 1 litre and half litre bottles. It's not dishwater safe though unfortunately, so will require hand washing.

The SodaStream Genesis is bigger and bulkier, and better suited to creating larger amounts of soda. It works at the touch of a button though, so is far speedier to use than the Fizzi.

So far we haven't spotted any Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals on the SodaStream Fizzi, only the Genesis.
