Now that the heatwave of the summer is firmly behind us, and we're well into autumn, finding pieces for the perfect trans-seasonal wardrobe can be a tricky task.
Seeking out the ideal item to both keep us warm, and ensure we don't get too hot, is usually more difficult than you think.
But luckily, John Lewis & Partners appear to have the perfect offering to help us tackle the awkward mid-season fashion. The retailer have recently confirmed their best-selling dress at the moment, and it's perfect for autumn, making it easy to see why it's so popular right now!
Currently, their Full Sleeve Midi dress is the retailer's best-selling dress, going down a storm with customers both online and in stores.
It's also available in two colours, meaning you can take your pick of the look you prefer. It's being sold in burnt orange and navy, and, as predicted is selling out very quickly in both colours.
The stunning dress has some flattering bell-sleeves, and a chic high neckline. The mid-length style ensures the dress is perfect for almost any occasion, but would perhaps work best as work-wear, for a more formal dinner, or perhaps even a winter wedding.
John Lewis's best-selling dress can be easily paired with their tights or bare legs depending on the weather outside, and would look utterly chic with a neutral coloured fascinator.
Pair yours with heels to finish off the polished, sophisticated outfit, or wear it with some smart flats for a more relaxed look.
While the dress is perhaps on the more expensive side, at £99, we guarantee that this would be a purchase that would work in your wardrobe for years to come. The simple but tailored style ensures it won't go out of fashion anytime soon.
At the moment, the dress is still available in a size 16 in a navy, and sizes 14, 16 and 18 in the burnt orange. However, we predict that the remaining sizes will also be gone soon, so if you want the dress, you'll need to act fast!
