On Wednesday, Kate Middleton beamed in a sunshine yellow Karen Millen dress as she took on a solo outing in Surrey. The Princess visited a maternity ward and chatted with new mums and staff about their children.
Amy Stubbs, the deputy director of midwifery at the maternity unit, told People that the Princess of Wales was easy for new parents to connect with and related to them with stories about her own experiences of motherhood.
"She was very relatable. She talked a lot about how it felt for her when she became a mother," said Amy. "She just really talked about her own children including how they chose their names. A lot of the new mums and dads are thinking about how to choose names for their babies, and they spoke with her about how Kate and William made their choice."
While every parent takes their time naming their children, and it's a big decision for anyone, William and Catherine's decision was being watched by an entire nation and betting companies were raking in money from members of the public placing bets on which names the royal couple would choose for their children.
Amy revealed that Kate spoke about feeling a 'big pressure' when it came to naming her children, "she said they were their favorite names and that obviously the world was waiting for them to name their children — and that felt like quite a big pressure!"

Of course, the names selected by the royal couple ended up being George, Charlotte, and Louis. These names combined the tradition expected from the Royal Family and people born into the royal line of succession, while also remaining appropriate for children growing up in modern times.
