The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Caribbean Tour in celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee has just come to a close after an 8 day trip to Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.
As the couple headed back to the UK from Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas, Kate wore one final yellow and white retro look that was the perfect final outfit to conclude the tour.
The Duchess wore an Alessandra Rich floral yellow and button down white sundress with a pleated peplum at the waist, a cinched in decorative belt, puffed short sleeves, and a bow detailed ruffled collar. This gorgeous outfit was paired with a white clutch and a matching pair of white closed toe heels, to complete this perfect 80s throwback look.

This stunning dress worn by Kate was a clear 80s twist on her usual style and seemed to have been inspired by one of the other members of the Royal Family who was well known for her iconic fashion during the 80s and 90s, Princess Diana.
Princess Diana wore similar yellow floral dresses when she too was on a royal tour in the 80s. When visiting Sydney, Australia in 1988, Princess Diana wore a bright yellow and white floral sundress when she presented prizes to the winning team of lifeguards at the Central Coast Surf Carnival.
While Kate opted for a more fitted silhouette, the fabric and the puffed sleeve style of the Duchess fo Cambridge's final Caribbean look was a clear tribute to the Princess of Wales who also loved this bright floral style.
