Kate Middleton reveals her ‘playful side’ with cheeky emoji in Wimbledon predictions
The Duchess of Cambridge is a huge Wimbledon fan

Kate Middleton's recent use of emoji shows the Duchess has a 'playful' side.
- Kate Middleton took to Twitter to praise Wimbledon stars Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu.
- She used the 'winking' emoji which according to the emoji dictionary shows a 'playful' nature.
- This follows royal news that Prince Charles was spotted in Iceland, as fans joke he spotted a great meal deal.
Kate Middleton revealed a 'playful side' to her personality during a Twitter exchange with Wimbledon stars, Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu.
A few days prior to Emma's shock withdrawal due to injury, the Duchess of Cambridge whipped out a rarely-seen accessory at Wimbledon and revealed her bets were on the two Brits to win the tennis tournament.
"Unbiased 😉 prediction to win it: @andy_murray and @EmmaRaducanu #Wimbledon," she tweeted.

It wasn't necessarily the Duchess of Cambridge's words but her use of emoji that captured the attention of royal fans, as the Duchess used a 'wink emoji' to compliment the tweet.
A quick look in the emoji dictionary, and the 'wink emoji' is a sign of a 'playful side'.
The description reads, "The winking face emoji is a great go-to emoji for flirtatious situations. Though it's often used to flirt, this emoji is also a useful way to playfully joke or to silently let the reader in on a secret. It can also be used to hint at desirable outcomes or to prod someone to take a particular action.”

Kate's Wimbledon commentary on Twitter comes just days after the Duke of Cambridge pledged his allegiance to the England football team, who have been doing well in the Euros 2020.
It's nice to see the Duke and Duchess showing a more lighthearted side on social media after months of being locked in a 'bitter feud' with Prince Harry following his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
While royal tension has dominated headlines in recent months, it's thought Prince Harry and Prince William are expected to try and work things out during an upcoming reunion trip.
According to US Weekly, Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning a secret trip to America to meet their new niece, Lilibet, and embark on 'peace talks' with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
A palace insider said, "There’s a shared desire to move on. William and Kate want to meet Lili, and they agree it’s only fair that they visit Harry and Meghan on their home turf."
While royal watchers will no doubt be desperate to see how the reunion goes, there's a mutual desire for it to be kept under the radar.
"There won’t be a lot of fanfare and you won’t see pictures of them building sand castles on the beach in Santa Barbara," the insider added.
