Are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex planning a US tour for 2019?

There is speculation that Prince Harry and Meghan are arranging a visit to the States sometime in the New Year.

Reported in Vanity Fair, it’s thought Meghan, Prince Harry and their newborn will be touring the US and Canada in the Autumn.

There has been no official confirmation of exactly when the tour will take place, with everything depending on the birth of the couple’s first baby.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to welcome their baby in the spring, around April 2019.

Meghan is expected to return to work fairly quickly after the birth of her child, and plans to work up until near the due date.

It’s been suggested Meghan will take a fairly short maternity leave of less than six months.

Initially, according to a royal correspondent, the couple had organised a trip to America for the start of January 2019 but these plans were changed after Meghan’s pregnancy was announced.

This will be even more special as The Duke and Duchess will be able to return to Meghan’s homeland with their new child. How lovely!

We are sure Meghan is looking forward to returning to the States, especailly since this will be the first time her and Prince Harry will be visiting as a married couple.

Prior to marrying Prince Harry, Meghan starred in Suits- an American legal drama- for seven years. The drama was filmed in Canada where it is thought the The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their baby will also pay a visit.

The former actress grew up in Los Angeles and we are sure she will be excited to introduce her lovely family- Prince Harry and their newborn- to loved ones back home.

Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, lives in the US and we are sure she will be excited to spend time with her family.

It sounds like Prince Harry and Meghan’s new baby will have a busy and exciting first year!
