The Duchess of Cornwall and Dame Mary Berry have joined forces to announce the winning pudding, made by a member of the public, for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The two royal icons will team up to front the BBC show, which will reveal what goes into making a winning pudding for the Queen.
The Queen's pudding competition, which was open to bakers nationwide, was a bid to find a dessert to celebrate the monarch's 70-year reign.
The idea behind the competition was to create a special pudding to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Similar to how coronation chicken (which was served when the Queen started her reign) became a popular dish - they're hoping to do the same with a new pudding.
Over 5,000 people submitted their puddings, with 50 making it to the short list. Buckingham Palace’s head chef then helped to whittle it down to five finalists - which will all be revealed by Mary and Camilla on May 12th via the BBC show The Jubilee Pudding: 70 Years in the Baking.
The winner will be revealed three weeks before the Queen's Platinium Jubilee bank holiday celebrations - so just enough time for them to make enough for the whole of the UK to enjoy.
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee will mark the monarch's 70th year on the throne. Her Majesty, who has already celebrated her Silver, Golden, and Diamond Jubilees, is set to become the first-ever British monarch to reach the impressive milestone.
The Queen ascended to the throne when she was just 25 years old in 1952. Queen Elizabeth II is now 95 years old as she recently celebrated her birthday on 21st April. She will be celebrating her official state birthday on Saturday 12 June 2021.
The Platinum Jubilee Party will also be held at Buckingham Palace and the surrounding area on Sunday. The pageant will see over 5,000 people from across the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth take over London's streets with performances of theatre, music, circus, carnival, and costume, in celebration of the service of Her Majesty’s reign and in honor of the collective service of people and communities across the country.
