Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried and Colin Firth are set to return to their super trouper roles - and we say... Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie!
Pierce Brosnan confirmed that he would be returning to sing his heart out in Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again as Sam Carmicheal back in May.The actor posted the news through an Instagram post which read: "Do wanna dance, or do you wanna dance? Mama Mia here we go again..."
And finally we have some behind the scenes pictures of the cast as they reunite in the fictional Greek island of Kalokairi.
Amanda, who plays Sophie, sent Mamma Mia fans into a frenzy as she posted the pictures on her Instagram account. The first showed her smiling behind a door with the caption: "Welcome back to Kalokairi @mammamiamovie".
She then posted a picture with co-star Jessica Keenan Wynn and wrote: "Sophie and young Auntie Tanya in a space-time continuum".
Jessica will play a younger Tanya, one of Donna's (Sophie's mum) best friends, which explains Amanda's 'space-time continuum' comment.
It is thought the Mamma Mia Sequal will go back and fourth in time to show how Donna met all three of the men who could be Sophie's father.
But Amanda didn't stop there. She also shared a picture of a notebook from Hotel Bella Donna (her mother's, played by Meryl Streep, hotel.
Plus she also showed her 2.4 million fans a picture of her set chair labelled "Sophie" and covred in fairy lights with a pair of black shoes in front.
And in other exciting news, it has been revealed that the original cast will also be joined by none other than Cher! Yes - the Oscar-winning actress and singer revealed the news on Twitter.
She wrote: "Well...I'm in Momma Mia 2."
The 71-year-old's role in the film is still firmly under wraps. But she has confiirmed that she has been in rehearsals and many fans think Cher's tweet "FERNANDO" with a thinking emoji is a hint that she is involved in this ABBA hit.
This will be Cher's first film appearance since 2010, where she starred alongside Christina Aguilera in Burlesque. She is currently in the UK, where filming is taking place, but the film is also being shot on location in Croatia.
While we are sure the whole cast is super excited to be back together, with Cher in tow, it might be little awkward for some of them..
Dominic Cooper, who plays Sky, will be reunited with his ex-girlfriend Amanda Seyfried, who plays Sophie - his on-screen partner.Speaking to The Times Dominic said: "I think it will be fine working with Amanda again. I haven't spoken to her for a while, but we've always remained friends."
Dominic and Amanda started dating in 2008 when they met filing the first Mamma Mia,but they split three years later.

Dominic added, "Though it'll be odd, gazing into each other's eyes and singing an ABBA song. It was a very turbulent, but enjoyable, happy time and part of life."
Since the break up Amanda has moved on with actor Thomas Sadoski. The couple got married this year and have a daughter together.
What we know about the Mamma Mia Sequel so far...
The sequel is due for release on 20 July 2018 and will be called Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. It will be written and directed by British filmmaker OI Parker, writer ofThe Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
The finer details of the plot haven't been confirmed, but according to sources speaking with Variety, the second film's storyline will follow Donna (Meryl Streep), Harry (Colin Firth) and Sam (Pierce Brosnan) years before the original film takes place, making it a prequel rather than a sequel...New actors would be cast to play younger versions of Streep, Brosnan and Firth but the roles haven't been confirmed yet.
If you are always looking for a reason to crack out that ABBA soundtrack, you're in luck...Some of ABBA's most loved songs, including those that didn't make it on to the original film, will be making it onto the film's soundtrack.
