Cat Deeley will be making her comeback to UK presenting very soon as it has just been announced that she will be replacing Lorraine Kelly while she is off for Easter. She will present ‘Lorraine’ all of next week while Lorraine takes off some time over Easter.

Lorraine said to Cat over video, “I’m so glad you could do this because obviously you’ll be brilliant!” Cat replied self-deprecatingly, “I hope I’m just even half as good as you Lorraine! I’m a little bit terrified I haven’t even properly dressed from the waist down since good knows when! I’m hoping I’ll be even half as good as you and I’ll be alright”
Cat has lived in the US for 14 years now with her husband Patrick Kielty, but the English celebrity first came into the spotlight when presenting SMTV with Ant and Dec. Now, over a decade since she left the UK, she will be returning to presenting to a UK audience.
Lorraine editor Victoria Kennedy said, “Next week the lovely Cat Deeley will take to the helm of Lorraine, providing viewers at home with much-needed Easter enjoyment.” She also said on Twitter, “This is going to be great fun!”
She continued to say, “As a huge fan of SMTV, I’m more than just a bit delighted. And of course we look forward to welcoming Ranvir back too. We’ve got a great lineup of Easter guests joining us.”
It was confirmed that Louise Redknapp, Stacey Soloman, Tom Odell and Melanie Hill will all be appearing on the show during Lorraine’s Easter break. It was also announced that following Cat’s presenting, Ranvir Singh will host the show the following week from April 12th.
