Are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindling their romance? Here's what we know about the return of 'Bennifer'
Team Bennifer forever

Bennifer may finally be rekindling their romance - nearly two decades after their shock split back in 2004.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly an item once again, 17 years after calling off their engagement.
The superstar lovers, who were one of the most iconic couples in Hollywood back in the early 2000s, are rumored to have taken a weeklong vacation together at a Montana ski chalet in May.
J.Lo and Ben have always considered themselves friends even after ending their long-term relationship, but after J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement for the last time on April 15, rumors of her and the actor hanging out again started circulating.

After the two made separate appearances at the VAX LIVE concert in Los Angeles, it was Ben who suggested taking a getaway, according to PEOPLE.
"They both had last week off and wanted to spend time away from L.A.," a source told the outlet. "Ben suggested Montana since he has a place there."
The insider also added that the vacation was "a nice break" for J.Lo, who has been dealing with the aftermath of her split from Alex.
The Oscar-winning actor has been there for support throughout her split, but clearly, the chemistry between them is still there—even years later.
"They have been in touch here and there throughout the years," a source told E! News. "Ben reached out to her to see how she was doing, and they had dinner together a few times within this last month. It's natural between them, and the chemistry is unreal. They picked up where they last left off and are enjoying each other's company right now."
According to TMZ, the pair's rekindling has been "building" though since February while J.Lo was filming her latest movie, Shotgun Wedding, in the Dominican Republic. Ben had started sending her letters over email that weren't just friendly were more "loving" and "longing" for the actress. The two went back and forth with one another for the duration of her filming, which ended in April.
At one point, sources even told the outlet that J.Lo wrote back to him gushing over his writing say he could "own her heart" with his pen.
The singer and the Justice League actor first started dating back in July of 2002 when they were filming the hit movie Gigli. Sparks were flying between the two, and that November, Ben officially proposed to J.Lo with the iconic pink custom-made diamond ring.
While everything seemed like a fairytale romance, things took a turn in 2003 just days before they were set to say their vows. The couple announced they were calling off the wedding, then in 2004 publicly split.
As the years have gone by, the two have remained in one another's lives, and while they haven't announced whether or not they're officially getting back together, fans (and even a celebrity) are holding out hope that they do.
Matt Damon even gave his public support for the two of them during an appearance on the TODAY show.
"I hope it’s true. I love them both. I hope it’s true. That would be awesome,” he said.
