Martha Stewart is cooking up some mind-blowing treats and, this time, they're for dogs.

The business mogul has launched a line of health products for pets infused with one special ingredient: CBD. You heard that right, the queen of domestic bliss is selling cannabidiol goodies to dogs.

Having developed CBD products for humans previously, Martha realized that our furry friends could also benefit from the herbal remedy.

"We very successfully launched our beautiful line of gummies based on my idea of what a gummy should taste like — which is a pâte de fruit — the lovely French confection which is often served at the end of a delicious gourmet meal. And it occurred to me that dogs, too, like good taste," she said.

Inspired by the results of her first venture into the CBD world, Martha joined forces with Canopy Growth to create solutions to some of the most common doggie ailments. The partnership resulted in the development of three products that have three different functions.

"Calm" is aimed at dogs suffering from anxiety, "Mobility" is designed to help dogs with inflammation or wounds, while "Wellness" offers an everyday energy boost to all dogs.

“Dogs, too, like to be soothed and calmed and made to feel better,” Martha said. “Some dogs are anxious. Some dogs ache from arthritic conditions or aching joints or previous wounds. Some dogs' anxiety extends to getting along with other dogs.”

The entrepreneurial powerhouse, who has a net worth of £400 million, has always had a fondness for fluffy companions. She currently has four dogs, including two Chow Chows and two French bulldogs. “I always look forward to seeing them when I return home from a busy day and they eagerly greet me at the door.”

Martha’s interest in CBD sparked after she was introduced to it by her friend Snoop Dog. The rapper, who has been close with Martha ever since they met on her talk show in 2008, has always been open with her on the subject.

"I mean I did three seasons of our show, Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, learning a lot about cannabis," she revealed. "I'm not a user of cannabis but then I got very interested in not only cannabis but also in hemp and the derivatives."

Her CBD products have the bark of approval from Martha’s pets. Her dogs were some of the first to taste the treats before they became available to the public to try.

The entire range is now available to buy from Canopy Growth.
