Kate Beckinsale always looks stunning in her Instagram photos, and now she's revealed how she keeps herself looking so fresh.

Those of us who are obsessed with our skincare routines, and regularly love trying out the best night creams or best vitamin C serums, may have tried a facial or two—but you probably wouldn't have tried the Vampire Facial—which is apparently a favorite treatment for the Underworld actress.

The 47-year-old mother-of-one also told The Sunday Times Style magazine that she's never had botox, because she's 'frightened of paralysing' her face.

A Vampire Facial is well-loved by A-List celebrities including her friend Victoria Beckham and also Kim Kardashian. As well as microdermabrasion, it also involves your own PRP (platelet-rich plasma) being injected back into your body.

The Pearl Harbour actress, who also loves posting pictures and funny videos of her cats on Instagram, said about the treatment: "That’s a real thing, from your own body. But not with scary poisonous things!"

She also went on to admit that, even though people assume she's had botox in the past, she never has as she's too scared, saying, "I'm frightened of paralysing my face."

Mother to Lily Sheen, 22, who she shares with actor Micheal Sheen, Kate also spoke about valuing time with her family and friends, especially after her father passed away when she was only 5, of a sudden heart attack.

"I've been so aware of the possibility people can drop dead at any time," she admitted, "I definitely had a sort of ‘I have to make sure I stay alive’ [feeling]. Even if she hates me, I’ve got to just be here."

The actress, who is based in Los Angles, is currently promoting her film Jolt, an action-comedy thriller—in which she turned her normal brunette locks blonde.

Kate also uses social media to show off her workout routines—a regular in the gym, she shared a tough abs and battle rope workout this week, and didn't even seem to be breaking a sweat, our hero!
