Halle Berry responds to comments that she ‘can’t keep a man’

Obnoxious social media users have hit out at Halle Berry stating that the star's opinion is invalid because she ‘can’t keep a man.’ Halle responded in the most hilarious way that has put the online trolls right back in their place. 

We all know that a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle, but still in 2021 people are trying to shame women who are single and happy being independent. 

Unfortunately for Halle Berry, she was the target of some online abuse as a few commenters tried to put the star down simply because she's single. This all stemmed from Halle Berry posting a message about girl power on her Instagram account.

Halle's original post said, “women don’t owe you sh*t,” with the caption, “& that’s on mary had a little lamb.” Many commenters loved the statement of girl power with celeb friends chiming in to show support.

Chrissy Teigen commented, “Alright, we goin!!!” while Tia Mowry also commented on the post, adding her agreement she simply said, “Word.” However, the post was also flocked with a lot of negativity as some fans felt that this was the perfect opportunity to shame the star.

One fan wrote, “Says the woman who can’t keep a man.” Halle quickly put the commenter in their place and replied, “Who says I wanna keep the wrong man? Cuz...I don’t.”

Another fan commented that Halle should, “start looking in the mirror because it’s definitely you. What is it that you’re doing wrong?” The commenter continued with a long, rude speech that Halle replied to with a simple statement. 

Halle said, "Who said I wanted to keep them? I'm all about living your best life. If you make a wrong move, course correct and re-spin and start again!"

Fans loved this feminist response from the star and continued to show their support for Halle on the post. Other fans just enjoyed watching the star swiftly shut down the rude commenters. One fan wrote, “I’m just here for the comments from the triggered men. Lol!!!!” 

This comment clearly resonated with Halle as she replied with a series of laughing emojis. 

It seems the star is adept at dealing with rude comments and makes an effort to correct ignorance on her social media platforms. Well, we're here for it! Go Halle!
