Why you can trust Woman & Home
If you are looking for a bra to wear under a strapless party top, or a skimpy summer camisole with spaghetti straps, it can be hard to find one that stays in place and feels comfortable. If you are a size DD+ the quest is even more challenging. This bra will give you the lift you need and improve how you look in your clothes, whatever your size.
The majority of the bras in my lingerie drawer are great for everyday wear, I'm a size 32FF and have discovered the best bras for large busts. However, when it comes to dressing for a special occasion I like to wear halternecks or tops with thin straps, and my full-cup bras have wide straps that will look unsightly. I decided to invest in a multiway bra that could work under a variety of necklines.

Some strapless bras look like stretchy tubes and work by compressing the breasts to stop them from moving around. These work well if you have smaller boobs but I don't like the mono-boob effect they have on a bigger bust, so I wanted to find a style that supported my boobs individually and gave them a rounded natural shape. The Pour Moi Definitions Multiway Strapless Bra caught my eye because it looked as smooth as a T-shirt bra, without fussy trims that might show under tight tops. I opted for the colourway that was closest to my skin shade and tried it under a selection of tops. I wore the bra for a full day and also for a night out and considered the design, how comfortable it felt and how confident it made me feel.

Pour Moi Definitions Multiway Strapless Bra Review: Shape & Cut
This bra has moulded, underwired cups that are big enough to encapsulate most of the breast, but much like the best balcony bra, the uppermost part of the breast is not covered. It's made from smooth microfibre fabric with minimal seams and the back panels are wide and lined with a firm mesh. The clasp has 3 rows of hook and eye fastenings. The detachable straps are smooth and measure 1.5cm wide. You can use one strap to create a halterneck or one-shoulder bra, or remove them both for a completely strapless design. When both straps are attached it transforms into a balcony bra.
Pour Moi Definitions Multiway Strapless Bra Review: Comfort
Strapless bras have to fit tightly around the band in order for them to provide the support you need and this one is no exception, I could feel the band firmly against my ribcage at all times. My average size is a 32FF, but with this bra I opted for a size 34F as it felt more comfortable, but was still supportive. The underwiring on this bra felt more rigid than usual, again playing a more important role than on a normal bra. I felt comfortable in this bra for about 4 hours, after that the tightness of the band began to irritate me.
Pour Moi Definitions Multiway Strapless Bra Review: Support & Fit
I wore this bra strapless under a camisole top with very thin straps and I felt incredibly supported. My boobs felt contained and stayed in place. The uppermost part of the breast felt a bit exposed, but this was ideal under the style of top I was wearing as it didn't show at all. The bra didn't slip down or ride up with wear, even when dancing. It fitted well and created a rounded natural effect while also lifting my boobs into the position they used to be in when I was in my twenties!
Pour Moi Definitions Multiway Strapless Bra Review: Style
Sleek and smooth - this bra is designed to disappear under your clothes and provide invisible support, much like the best shapewear. It is a functional bra that has minimal seams and trimmed with a little bow of the same colour (which you could easily snip off if you wanted a completely clean line).
Pour Moi Definitions Multiway Strapless Bra Review: Care
This bra is hand wash only and I recommend using a gentle liquid detergent to prolong the life of the bra. After washing this bra once I didn't notice any changes to it's size or shape. Like all moulded bras this bra needs to be stored unfolded - avoid inverting one cup into the other as this will cause the fabric to wrinkle and distort the shape. I suggest stacking your moulded bras together so that they support each other while being stored.
Pour Moi Definitions Multiway Strapless Bra Review: Verdict
This is a versatile and functional bra that will provide lift and support while you are wearing strapless or tricky necklines. It's designed to create a smooth line and be invisible under your clothes. Not an everyday bra, but one that will play an important role in your bra collection.
