Taking the internet by storm with a wealth of sell-out pieces, Marks & Spencer have had us going wild for their trend-led accessories recently. And now, they're doing it again – with a little help from the blogging community.
The high street hero has teamed up with seven bloggers and influencers, with each of them working with the in-house design team to create their very own pair of shoes.
One pair of shoes has been released every two weeks over the last month or so, and this week, it was the turn of ‘The Emily’, some fun sandals designed by blogger Emily Jane Johnston.
And it seems customers loved the latest release, as the available pairs have now sold out completely online!
Subtle but stylish, the £35 peep-toe kitten heels have a strong statement in the form of the adorable silver lobster attached to the middle, created by Emily as a reminder of her childhood holidays.
But sadly, they’ve proven to be so popular on the M&S website, that they have already completely sold out.
But never fear, because there are still a whole heap of blogger-designer shoes set to be released on the M&S website over the coming weeks.
Other bloggers who have designed shoes with M&S are Fran Bacon (The Fashion Lift), Zoë de Pass (Dress Like A Mum), Danielle Vanier, Erica Davies (The Edited), and Kat Farmer (Does My Bum Look 40 In This).
All are purse-friendly too, coming in at between £35 and £49.50.
And each design clearly reflects each influencer’s own individual style.
Catering for all tastes, the shoes range from classic moc-croc midi heels, sports luxe sandals and statement pom-pom adorned sliders – so there really is something for everyone.
Taking to Instagram to share her excitement at the launch a few weeks ago, Emily Johnston said, ‘yes, that’s a watery eye you are spotting. I’m an emotional wreck. Last year @marksandspencer asked me to join a group of inspiring women to design a pair of shoes to be sold on their website this spring. I didn’t believe it then and I don’t believe it now, even though I’m holding them in my hands!’

Sadly, these gorgeous flats have already sold out on the website, after being released mid-February. But there are plenty of others to look forward to…
