Although summery shades such as sunshine yellow and lively blues are fun to wear, I have to admit I'm looking forward to embracing darker autumn neutrals next season. And Isla Fisher's recent outing in an olive green dress has fuelled this excitement.

Wearing an olive green cotton dress from the British clothing brand ME+EM, the actress was spotted in an Instagram post at the screening for her new film Spa Weekend. The exact dress is made from a lightweight cotton fabric – ideal for transitional weather – and features the brand's signature, flattering, fit-and-flare silhouette.

In recent weeks, olive shades have been everywhere, and it's set to be one of the biggest autumn/winter fashion trends for 2026. From new-in collections on the high street to celebrity style, and this dress has to be one of the chicest ways to wear it. Isla pairs it with an elegant gold clutch bag from Kurt Geiger and large gold hoops, and the metallic tone works beautifully with the green.

From zesty lime shades to softer khaki and olive, green has been a key player in the fashion colour trends throughout the whole of 2026. However, as we enter the latter part of the year, olive green feels like one of the easiest and chicest tones to embrace, whether that's with a floaty dress or one of the best trench coats in the shade.

Isla's fit-and-flare dress is a signature design from the brand and is the perfect example of why so many people keep coming back to ME+EM. With a close-fitting top half and a fuller skirt, it has a feminine shape that works for any occasion, and it will flatter a range of body types too.
