Twiggy reveals the easy beauty essentials she uses in her low-maintenance routine

Twiggy has revealed her go-to beauty products for everyday use.
The model has opened up about the beauty routine she follows to keep her looking and feeling her best.
Despite describing herself as ‘low-maintenance’, the 69-year-old, whose real name is Dame Lesley Lawson LBE, has explained that there are a few daily practices that she swears by.
‘My big thing is pilates - I swear by it,’ she told British Vogue. ‘A few years ago I got a really bad back and my osteopath said that the best thing I could do once I was well enough was pilates. I’ve been doing it for three years now and it’s changed my life.
‘I’m telling everyone out there: give up the gym and get a good pilates teacher! It’s a miracle.’
Speaking of her go-to beauty products, the sixties icon went on to say that she sticks with three easy essentials.

‘When I do my own make-up, I don’t have any particular brands that I use, but I think my base today is Chanel, which is a nice fluid one. I have very dry skin so I have to have make-up that doesn’t dry it out,’ she explained.
‘I’m not sure which mascara I use but it’s one that adds length because I have really short lashes. In the old days I used to wear three sets of false lashes but I can’t be bothered with that anymore - I gave up on them a long time ago!
‘And rouge! My favourite rouge is the old-fashioned Bourjois Little Round Pop Blusher. They haven’t changed it for years and they’re lovely shades - I go for the rosey ones so it looks like I’m naturally flushed.’
The former America’s Next Top Model judge also opened up on her skincare routine, admitting that she keeps it simple again with high-street brands like Nivea, Dove and Aveeno.

‘I do look after myself,’ she continued, ‘because it’s important in the work that I do.’
And her number one self-care beauty tip?
‘I never sleep with make-up on - ever. No matter how late it is, how tired or drunk, always take your make-up off!’
