As much as we are fans of fake tan, we'll be the first to admit the process can be fairly messy and time-consuming. However, Tess Daly just revealed her clever trick that makes the task quick, easy, and as fuss-free as humanly possible – and now we want to try it for ourselves.

Known for her golden glow all year round, Tess Daly has waved goodbye to spray tans and now relies on the best fake tans, all thanks to her clever trick that allows her to tan her entire body in "90 seconds flat" – the dream, right?

Rivalling the results of spending a week in the sun, without any harmful UV exposure, the trick in question involves a nifty bottle under £10 that makes application easy breezy.

In a wholesome video posted to Instagram, the former Strictly Come Dancing presenter compared beauty routines with her 22-year-old daughter, Phoebe Kay.

After sharing her favourite radiance-boosting complexion enhancer (MAC's Strobe Cream, if of interest) and go-to vanilla body mist from France, Daly went on to say: "It's the simplest beauty hack in the world. I'm really excited to share this with you, because I cannot live without this." The trick in question is a continuous mister bottle for her self-tan.

Having become a non-negotiable in her routine, Tess' love runs deep for this misting trick; she says, "I take it everywhere I travel. It's a mister bottle, and I put my tanning lotion in it. I tan myself now."

Not only is it easy and seamless enough to do yourself at home, but the former model also stresses how much faster it makes the application process: "Literally, it takes me, I'd say, 90 seconds flat to do my entire body. Like, you know, legs are up, the arms are up, everything."

"I'm obsessed with these bottles," Daly goes so far as to say – if that's not a raving review, we don't know what is. Plus, it seems that the nifty trick not only convinced us, but influenced her daughter to try it too. "Well, I'd quite like one, please, too," Phoebe adds.
