5 Of The Best Organic Deodorants
Nowadays, there are so many natural alternatives to beauty products on the market, and many of us opt for organic skincare to ensure our skin is protected. But while we often treat our face, hair and body to natural goodness, one area always gets overlooked - our armpits.
Every morning and night, we slather deodorant on them - whether sprays or roll-ons - but do we really know what we are putting there?
Many deodorants contain aliminium, which artificially clogs the pores, preventing foul odours pouring out. Aliminium is a neurotoxin, and has been associated with various health issues, such as breast cancer and Alzheimer's. Although these studies are not definitive, it may be worth opting for more natural alternatives, especially if you have sensitive skin or experience irritation.
There are many organic deodorants on the market, which can still block bad odours despite the lack of aluminium. Many of them are also vegan and cruelty-free, meaning they are great for the environment too. Keep reading to find out our best buys...
