Sleek bob hairstyle

Want to look younger and update your style? US hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai gives actress Kim Anderson a geometric bob

Ditching bulky layers for a sleek bob can help you look younger. US hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai cuts Kim Anderson's hair into a geometric bob

The woman: Kim Anderson, 45, actress

The cut: Sleek, geometric bob

Why it works

“Kim is curvaceous and womanly, and this cut emphasises her long neck, shoulders and bone structure,” says Frédéric. “I replaced her irregular layers with smooth, sleek angles. This eliminates frizz, adds lots of body and elongates everything.”

What it takes
Apply a blow-drying balm to damp hair from the roots to the ends and blow-dry straight using a large, round radial bristle brush to grab and hold hair in place as you dry. To make hair super-sleek and controllable, finish with straightening irons and add a shine spray to boost gloss and manage the frizz.
