Mascarpone and pesto dip


This Italian-style creamy dip is delicious and easy to make. And if you are rushed, you can make it super fast by using ready-made pesto

Mascarpone and pesto is an Italian style creamy dip that’s easy to make and impossible to resist. But here is a secret—if time is tight, you can make this recipe very quickly by using your favourite ready-made pesto.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Serves 10

250g pot mascarpone cheese

For the pesto:
25g (1oz) fresh basil leaves
15g (½oz) pine nuts
25g (1oz) Parmesan, freshly grated
1 small garlic clove
5tbsp olive oil

bread sticks, to serve

Place the pesto ingredients in a blender, whizz to a paste and season. Spoon mascarpone into a bowl and add 6tbsp of pesto. Mix and spoon into a serving bowl

Per serving: 180cals, 19g fat, 9g saturated fat, 0g carbohydrate
