The Queen has received some wonderful news.
- The Queen was forced to cancel one of the most important royal events of the year due to the coronavirus crisis.
- Now, it's been confirmed the event will go ahead in a special way.
- This royal news comes after Her Majesty celebrated a very important milestone.
The long-reigning royal is thought to have been saddened after it was confirmed that this year's Trooping the Colour celebrations were to be cancelled.
The annual ceremony, performed by the British and Commonwealth armies is a tradition which sees many members of the royal family come together for a huge public engagement.
But in light of the coronavirus pandemic, the special event, which is known for attracting crowds of royal fans, is unable to go ahead on June 13 this year.
Luckily, it has been revealed that a miniature version of the celebration will go ahead, in order to mark Her Majesty's official birthday.
Instead of having a big get together at Buckingham Palace, the Queen will commemorate the day with a small ceremony at her second residence, Windsor Castle.
According to the Daily Mail, the parade will be commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Henry Llewelyn-Usher, who will lead a small contingent of men from the Welsh Guards, accompanied by a reduced group of the Bands of the Household Division.
A royal salute will take place at 11am, ending a very special week for the Queen and her husband Prince Philip, who will celebrate his 99th birthday on June 10.

She and the Duke of Edinburgh have been isolating at Windsor Castle with a small amount of staff and Her Majesty enjoyed some outdoor time when she rode her 14-year-old Fell Pony called Balmoral Fern around the castle grounds at the weekend.
