The Queen leads birthday tributes to the Duchess of Cornwall
Duchess Camilla is celebrating her 74th birthday
The Queen has led the tributes to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who is celebrating her 74th birthday.
- HRH Duchess of Cornwall turns 74 today.
- Duchess Camilla has had a busy week on a "non-stop" trip to Wales with Prince Charles.
- This follows royal news that royal fans might not get a birthday picture of Prince George this year.
The Queen is the first of the royal family to mark the Duchess of Cornwall's 74th birthday.
Her Majesty's team shared a tribute to Duchess Camilla on Instagram.
Alongside a picture of Prince Charles' wife—who will be denied this royal title in future—the Royal Family's account wrote, "Wishing the Duchess of Cornwall a very happy birthday today."
Royal fans will no doubt hope Duchess Camilla takes a well-earned day off to celebrate her birthday today, after a "non-stop" trip to Wales followed by an appearance at the Great Yorkshire Show.
The royal couple—who are both in their seventies—completed over twenty royal engagements on their week-long annual trip and were applauded for their impressive work ethic.

"My gosh; they are going non-stop. You’d think after retirement age they’d stay home and watch Netflix," one Instagram user wrote.
The couple recently broke their silence on retirement plans during a chat with Richard Sigward at an Asda warehouse.
"The Duchess was saying to me she definitely agrees that if people can work and are happy to do it, they should carry on," he revealed after their visit. "She said she refuses to retire herself. The prince was the same."
Prince Charles is currently second in line to the throne and therefore his workload is only set to increase in the coming years.
Things are set to look very different when the Prince of Wales becomes King as he plans to “cut down” the royal family.
Prince Charles’ plans to streamline the monarchy have been on the cards for a “very long time” in order to “save costs”.
Royal biographer Angela Levin has suggested Charles will likely want to adjust the way the Royal Family is structured in the future, and is keen for “change”.
“Prince Charles has wanted for a very long time to cut the monarchy down to save costs and to make people be worth the money that they got from the taxpayer,” she explained during an interview on talkRADIO.
