Royal fans, breathe a sigh of relief—the Queen is officially on the mend after contracting coronavirus last week.
Her Majesty visited Frogmore at the weekend to spend quality time with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Beatrice, according to the Daily Mail. She was also joined by some of the Royal Family's younger members, including the eight-year-old heir to the throne, Prince George.
It was revealed by Buckingham Palace that the Queen had Covid on Sunday, 20 February—less than two weeks after her eldest son, Prince Charles, tested positive for the virus.
Her Majesty was forced to cancel multiple virtual engagements following the diagnosis but continued to perform 'light duties', such as Red Box filing, at Windsor Castle. She also held her weekly audience with Prime Minster Boris Johnson on Wednesday over the telephone.

According to palace insiders, the 95-year-old monarch displayed 'mild, cold-like symptoms' after catching the virus, including a 'croaky throat'. She was also described as 'full of cold'—an English expression used when someone is feeling particularly stuffed up.
Fortunately, after a worrying week, it looks like the Queen has finally been given the Covid all-clear.
It's been revealed that the royal matriarch ended her self-isolation on Sunday to join Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as their three children, at Frogmore Estate for a lowkey family reunion. Princess Beatrice and her baby daughter, Sienna, were also in attendance. It's understood that Princess Eugenie, who lives in Frogmore Cottage with husband Jack Brooksbank and their baby son, August, was unable to make the exciting event.
The relaxing gathering marked the end of a hectic week for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have both undertaken solo work projects over the past few days.
Kate Middleton arrived in Denmark on Tuesday for her first overseas engagement since the pandemic began, while Prince William visited MI6 on Wednesday ahead of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The trip to Frogmore likely gave the hardworking couple a welcome break from their busy schedules, as well as a long-overdue catch-up with the Queen.
