As part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a Platinum Jubilee Pageant will be taking place on Sunday, June 5, 2022, where some of the key highlights during the Queen's 70-year reign will be celebrated.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee is just around the corner, and while some are preparing their Platinum Jubilee Pudding and others are hanging up their jubilee decorations, some people preparing to celebrate the Queen's jubilee have a much greater task at hand.

On the last day of the Jubilee bank holiday weekend, there is an extensive pageant that is going to take place. Part of this pageant involves fresh flower displays that demonstrate some of the key themes associated with the Queen.

The gargantuan flower displays included a huge corgi with its tongue sticking out and a crown placed lopsidedly on its head, a palace guard complete with a tall black hat and a bright red jacket, and an outline of Her Majesty's face made from orange, pink, and blue roses.

The Platinum Jubilee Pageant will be divided into four sections, each of which will celebrate the Queen's Jubilee history and tell the story of the transforming society during the Queen's 70-year reign.

The first act is titled, 'For Queen and Country.' The pageant organizers explained, "For Queen and Country is the opening act of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant. It will be a military spectacle, celebrating the UK Armed Forces from all three Services, along with military personnel from across the Commonwealth including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Ghana, Belize, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, and beyond."

The second act is titled, 'The Time of Our Lives' and is focused on the change in society during the last seven decades. organizers state, "‘The Time of Our Lives’ is a vibrant display of British life since 1952, moving through a transformation of popular culture over the last 70 years."

The third act is titled 'Let’s Celebrate,' This will be the most comedic of the acts as the pageant and will reportedly, "harness creativity, ingenuity, humour and community spirit."

The final fourth act is named, 'Happy and Glorious' and will take place in front of Buckingham Palace. The finale is described as 'like no other' as 'all parts of the Pageant' lead to this moment. It is unclear what the finale will look like exactly, but given the extravagance of this pageant, royal fans can expect something pretty spectacular.
