Men's champion of Wimbledon 2022, Novak Djokovic, was initially confirmed to play, but has since said that his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine could prevent him from partaking. Not only has US immigration required people to be vaccinated to enter the country, but US Open chiefs have also mandated that all attendees at their event be fully jabbed against the virus.
