Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani mocked each other in a new commercial for T-Mobile that sees Adam Levine set the two up on a first date.

The commercial, which aired during the Superbowl Big Game, showed that the engaged couple are very comfortable with one another and have no problem poking fun at each other.

In the advert, a single Gwen calls Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine and tells him she’s ready to start dating again. She tells Adam, “I'm sick of L.A. guys. I want someone completely different. Maybe from another country and someone cultured and sensitive and who's not threatened by a strong, confident woman."

Unfortunately due to a poor signal on a “spotty network” Adam hears, "I'm sick of L.A. guys, I want someone completely country, uncultured and threatened by a strong, confidant woman."

This then leads the singer to set Blake and Gwen on a date because he believes Blake to be the perfect country guy Gwen is looking for.

The advert cuts to Blake showing up on their date wearing spurs after he seemingly rode to the restaurant on horseback. Gwen seems baffled but considers his suggestion when he offers her a ride home. And the rest, of course, is history.

In reality, the couple have been dating publicly since 2015. They allegedly met when they co-starred on NBC’s The Voice, where they quickly fell in love. Both Gwen and Blake were going through divorces at the time which meant they were both single and ready to mingle.

In October 2020, the couple announced that they were engaged via an adorable Instagram post. Gwen posted a picture of her wearing an engagement ring with the caption “@blakeshelton yes please” with a ring emoji.

Since they have been together, the two have been frequent collaborators and currently have a song out together called "Nobody but you".
