And Just Like That… Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are back in our lives.
The first two episodes of And Just Like That, the hotly anticipated Sex and the City reboot, were released for streaming on HBO Max this week (December 9).
The first two episodes answered a lot of questions for fans—what everyone’s favorite sex columnist had been up to in the Twitter age, what a life after law looks like for Miranda and, most importantly, the real reason why Samantha isn’t returning.

As well as addressing absent faces, the show shocked fans by killing off a returning character.
In scenes that have forced Peloton to respond after share prices plummeted as a result, Carrie’s husband John (aka Mr Big) suffered a heart attack after exercising on his Peloton bike while Carrie attended a piano recital of Charlotte’s daughter.
Coming home, Carrie managed to share one last painful look with her husband before he passed away.
“And just like that, Big died,” Carrie’s voiceover said on the show.
While many fans were left devastated by the tragic scenes, one fan took to Twitter to throw some subtle shade at the show—something that didn’t go unnoticed by Kim Cattrall.

The tweet liked by Kim read, “And just like that… I find myself only wanting t watch anything @KimCattrall is in. This is a Kim appreciation tweet.”
It wasn’t the only tweet of a similar nature that Kim liked.
She also liked one that read, “And just like that…I want to rewatch the 2014 HBO Canada prestige Toronto-set dramedy Sensitive Skin starring Kim Cattrall.”
A few days before the show premiered its first two episodes, Kim had liked another tweet which simply read, “Sometimes eras ending are good things.”

Producers might have high hopes Kim will reunite with her Sex and the City co-stars in the future, but, for now, her tweets might be telling another story.
