After the BBC One Christmas scheduling was revealed, viewers flocked to comment on how disgruntled they were with the broadcaster’s choices.

Some even went so far as to claim this year’s festive picks are the ‘worst ever’. Others were quick to state that they would be turning to Netflix as an alternative option.

With everyone facing a very unusual Christmas after what has already been a very difficult year, many people will have been especially looking forward to settling down for some festive entertainment.

Now it seems some have been left more than a little disappointed…

What have viewers said about the BBC’s Christmas scheduling?

Taking to Twitter to comment on the BBC’s excitedly shared Christmas scheduling, viewers did not seem in a mood to hold back.

One user wrote: ‘So other than Eastenders, and Strictly its all rubbish. Very disappointing’.

Whilst a fellow user said it was the ‘worst Christmas TV scheduling I have ever seen’.

Another echoed this: ‘Every year I think your Christmas schedule couldn't get worse,  but somehow you manage it’.

‘Yet another Netflix Crimbo for me thanks’ wrote another.

Did anyone like what the BBC has to offer this Christmas?

Whilst many were less than thrilled by the BBC’s Christmas scheduling this year, some did step in to defend them.

‘There’s been a pandemic on, no one has been making content’ one user reminded everyone.

Another seconded this opinion, writing: ‘You may have not realised, but there’s been a massive pandemic this year making it difficult to film anything’.
