Ruth Langsford has found the perfect pair of summer trousers

When we think about which celebrities wardrobe we'd love to have for ourselves, Ruth Langsford's comes pretty high up on the list.

The This Morning star never fails to look both glamorous and professional. And best of all, the 58-year-old regularly opts for outfits from high-street stores, meaning her look is almost always achieveable.

And Ruth's outfit for Monday's episode of Loose Women was no exception. To kick off the week, the star went with one of her signature outfits - a fun, colourful blouse, paired with some simple black trousers.

But while Ruth's blouse, from MBYM, drew many compliments, it was Ruth's statement trousers we were most interested in.

The flattering bottoms are from Hobbs, and appear to be a staple in Ruth's wardrobe.

Her favourites look to be the 'Summer Gael' trousers made up of a fitted but stretchy fabric - perfect for when you want something comfortable to wear.

The ankle-length Hobbs trousers are perhaps most ideal for a workwear wardrobe, given that they're both smart and neutral. However, the item could also work brilliantly for more relaxed occassions, when paired with some fun wedges and a relaxed, strappy top.

And although trousers may not be your first thought when it comes to summerwear, Hobbs have ensured that their Gael trousers work just as well for hot weather as they do for the colder winter months.

The retailer has updated the trousers in a lighter weight, meaning customers can wear them no matter what the weather.

Ruth often wears the trousers in black, but if you prefer, you can also pick them up in blue, too.

Currently, the Summer Gael trousers are available in sizes eight to 16, having already sold out in sizes six and 18. And amazingly, Ruth's favourite trousers are also currently on sale - down to £69 from £89!

So if you're looking for a pair of summer trousers that will go with almost every top in your wardrobe - you may have just found the perfect pair.
