Why is it called Oliver Bonas?
You might have wondered about the intriguing name of the high-street favourite – and as it turns out, there's a fascinating story behind why it's called Oliver Bonas. The first store, which opened in 1993 on Fulham Road in London, was the brainchild of businessman Oliver Tress. Oliver combined his first name with the surname of his then-girlfriend, Anna Bonas, who just so happens to be the cousin of Prince Harry’s famous ex, Cressida Bonas. And so, the name Oliver Bonas was born – a unique blend of personal connections that has become a beloved high-street brand. Today, the brand owns 85 stores across the UK.
