I got my hands on the Sephora Beauty Advent Calendar ahead of its launch – and it's the best one I've seen this year

Stashed with a whopping 40 products (including 27 full-sized), you'll make a huge 77% saving on this impressive advent calendar

In a world where it seems like every retailer and brand is launching their very own beauty advent calendar, I'm here to cut through the noise and tell you which one is actually worth parting with your money for – and I'm not talking about one just filled with 25 travel-sized products.

It might only be September, but I've already had my eyes on the best beauty advent calendars that 2026 has to offer. Speaking of which, there's one that has stood out from the festive crowd this year thanks to it impressively making home to 40 buys, including the best face moisturiser and long-lasting perfumes.

While the Selfridges beauty advent calendar took the crown last year, Sephora's curated edit topped the charts for me this year. This advent calendar has sold out every year for the last four years, but I think the 2026 edition is better than ever – and just wait until you see how many full-sized products are inside...

While other advent calendars host 25 products, one for every day of the countdown to Christmas, in this year's Sephora advent calendar, you'll be treated to an impressive 40 buys. With the contents valued at a huge £1,025, you'll be making a 77% saving. And I'm not talking about deluxe minis here; 27 of the products in the lineup are full-sized.

Unlike other calendars on the market, I love how there are a plethora of instantly recognisable brands hidden inside these reflective silver boxes, such as MAC, K18, Color Wow and Sol de Janeiro. What's more, 10 of those brands are exclusive to Sephora, such as PHLUR, Glow Recipe, and Merit Beauty, meaning you'll only find them inside this calendar.

This advent calendar also treats you to a wide range of products that you'll actually use, rather than those that will simply gather dust on your dressing table. From the trending K-beauty Biodance sheet masks and one of the best-smelling body lotions from Sol de Janeiro to K18's well-loved repairing hair mask and Tatcha's hydrating water cream moisturiser – all of which are favourites amongst the woman&home beauty team.
