Sarah Jessica Parker visits her inner Carrie Bradshaw for shoe store job

Sarah Jessica Parker is getting back to her fashion-forward SATC roots by working in her shoe store

Sarah Jessica Parker has found herself a Pandemic hobby and has started working in her shoe store, SJP Collection.

Sarah Jessica herself has been spotted doing a shift or two at the flagship store in New York City on 54th Street. This boutique is just one of the eight branches of this global store that Sarah Jessica owns with George Malkemus (aka the guy who built Manolo Blahnik).

Sarah Jessica has been caught on camera sizing shoes, helping customers, and trying on her products, because why wouldn't you? She's done it all while dressed in chic outfits with a mask to match each look.

Her Instagram posts show that Sarah Jessica Parker started helping out at her store last year in August. She wrote on Instagram, “I’m back in-store today.” SJP even made herself available for deliveries! “I’m headed downtown around 3p or 4p and can personally drop off any deliveries that way,” she wrote.

Imagine Sarah Jessica Parker herself personally delivering your shoes to your door. It’s something out of a Sex and the City fever dream.

But it seems that this wasn’t just a one-off. Since then, Sarah Jessica has been spotted by fans in the store.

Then just a couple of days ago, Sarah Jessica took to Instagram to apologize to customers for turning up to work in casual attire. The star layered her outfit because of snow in New York. She also made sure to advocate wearing a mask in the post.

She uploaded a video of her outfit laid out on the floor and said, “Headed to work. With full respect for the weather. Plus 2 shells under parka, hat and gloves. Oh. And mask. That should help. Apologies in advance to all our customers at 54th St. @sjpcollection X,SJ”

The news of Sarah Jessica’s shoe store job comes just a few weeks after the confirmation of a Sex and the City re-boot.

The star is set to return to the role of Carrie Bradshaw very soon. And I couldn’t help but wonder, is working in her store part of her preparation for the role? There is nothing more Carrie Bradshaw than surrounding yourself with designer shoes in a time of crisis.
