There aren’t many people who would disagree with calling Sienna Miller one of the defining style icons of our time - but one person who might is Sienna Miller herself.

Whether she’s proving that chic autumn outfits don’t need to be complicated or effortlessly making a case for an alternative to barrel jeans, the Anatomy of a Scandal actress is always on the best-dressed lists. Which is why it was a surprise to discover that Sienna thinks she’s "completely lost [her] fashion sense" since becoming a mother again.

Speaking about reclaiming her sense of self postpartum, Sienna shared, "I have completely lost my fashion sense. I’ve been pregnant or breastfeeding for nearly four years, and I think something happens to the brain - or you’re so tired - that you sacrifice your identity.

She continued to British Vogue, "You’re just ‘mother’... and not in the Gen-Z way, as much as I would like to be.

"I know I have a good aesthetic," she added. "I can tell when something’s lovely and when it’s not, but when it comes to putting clothes together myself, I don’t know.

"I’m just in a strange place. I literally have to text my friends who have great style and ask them to help me."

Sienna has three children. Her eldest, daughter Marlowe, was born in 2012, with her ex, Tom Sturridge. She welcomed her second daughter in 2023 and her third child, a son, was born in May 2026. The father of these two children is Sienna's fiancé, Oli Green. The pair have kept the names of their two children private.

It’s an open and relatable admission - and it’s not just about being postpartum. Sienna opened up about the changes in her body challenging the way she dresses, which women of all ages are likely to relate to throughout different stages of their life.

She shared, “I’m just really questioning all this, because I’m just so underslept and I kind of don’t know who I am. I also have massive boobs, which I don’t know how to dress.”

Sienna might be in an era of self-doubt, but as many people still look to her as one of the defining British style icons, it’s worth sharing her top tips for autumn dressing. Her 2026 uniform, she revealed to the magazine, will be built around “jeans and a nice jumper and a Phoebe [Philo] shoe.

“But, really, what I’m most excited about is people breaking away from the social-media uniform. I’m yearning for that individuality - for people who don’t have a playbook and have to go and cobble things together. I’m looking forward to trying to find that myself.”
