Sienna Miller has been spotted at several fashion shows and red carpet events over the past few weeks, including the London premiere of her yet-to-be-released series War. Although we've been loving her elegant eveningwear, it's her recent smart-casual attire that's truly caught our attention.

Jeans and a T-shirt is one of the most relied-upon formulas, and Sienna Miller proves that this classic duo can be elevated to a smart-casual outfit with the right finishing touches. On The Tonight Show, she wore a laid-back band T-shirt and relaxed straight-leg jeans finished with heeled sandals and a sparkling statement necklace.

Sienna's look perfectly strikes the balance between relaxed and polished, working for a dinner date or drinks with friends. Her jeans are paired with a vintage 1989 Lou Reed New York T-shirt, whilst the addition of heels and sparkles makes this outfit feel put-together.

We love how she makes this classic formula feel put-together with her choice of accessories. Plus, we can't help but feel slightly nostalgic about her choice to wear a vintage band T-shirt, a styling move reminiscent of celebrity style in the Nineties and Noughties.

The beauty of this combination is just how easy it is to wear. Plus, you don't have to stick to band T-shirts; plenty of graphic tee designs channel the same feel and look. Jeans and a T-shirt also works well for this in-between weather too; layer up with a cosy knit or blazer when the chill sets in. It works with a range of footwear; however, if you want to dress it up, stick to heels.
