The Queen is renting out super sweet cottages on her beloved Balmoral Estate for just £15 a night
Sleep like a Queen and holiday like royalty
If you've always wanted to sleep like royalty, here's your chance to stay at the Balmoral estate.
- Cottages on the Balmoral estate are now available to book via the website
- The cheapest cottage, which houses 5 people, is as little as 15pp per night, when booking for a week

The Queen, who is 'resting' more due to mobility issues, as she stays at Balmoral, loves her summer getaways at Balmoral Castle - due to its acres of lush countryside and royal history.
Now you could follow in the Queen's footsteps - as the Balmoral estate is offering a chance to holiday in 8 of its cottages and lodges - giving you the perfect place to holiday for a UK staycation.
From the four-star Rhebreck Lodge, which costs £1,620 for the week to the three-star Colt Cottages, which start at £525 for a week, you'll have access to the same grounds as the Queen - but you won't be able to rent the cottages while she's staying there over the summer.

Scotland, like these 7 most beautiful places to visit, can be a picturesque place to holiday - and while the castle and grounds were open to visitors previously you can now stay in Balmoral, where the royal family stay over the summer.
Four of the cottages and lodges are located on the grounds of the estate - including Tigh na Garaidh Cottage and the Rhebreck Lodge. The other four are nearby - including Knocks Cottage and Connachat Cottage.
Depending on how many guests are staying with you the different self-catering accommodations can house from 5 to 7 people. Those on the grounds of the estate, however, are unable to book while the Queen is there for her summer holidays.

The cheapest accommodation are the Colt Cottages, with enough room for 5 people, the starting price for a week is £525, meaning per person, per night, you'll pay just £15 each.
Situated close to the Castle, near the Estates Office and Stables, for the price of the cottage you'll get 2 bedrooms (1 single and 1 double) and a sofa bed. You'll also have access to a shower room and kitchen.
While you're there, as well as exploring the grounds of Balmoral, you can visit the best lochs in Scotland for beautiful views, wild swimming and highland hospitality.
If you've missed out on booking this year, they've just announced fresh dates for 2023 staycations at the cottages - but be quick, other royals fans may beat you to it!
