Sophie Wessex has always been one to nail royal style, and with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend just over a week away, it looks like she isn't about to make any fashion faux pas any time soon.
The 57-year-old attended the annual Chelsea Flower Show in London yesterday with her husband, Prince Edward, to enjoy an exciting tour of its horticultural masterpieces and to meet with the talented architects behind the exhibitions.
Wearing a stunning pink trouser suit and brown wedges, the Countess of Wessex looked every inch the English rose as she strolled around the floral venue with the youngest of the Queen's children. Sophie's signature blonde hair was swept into a low bun and her makeup was kept fresh, while her jewelry - a pair of simple silver earrings and a silver penchant necklace - was also notably minimal.
She completed the springtime look with a camel-colored bag and a white shirt, letting the Gabriela Hearst double-breasted blazer and matching trousers take center stage as she listened intently to the gardens' designers speak about their creations.
The summery outfit was the perfect ode to Her Majesty, whose attendance at the Chelsea Flower had remained unconfirmed until shortly before she arrived at approximately 5.35 pm.
The Queen used a mobility aid to move around its lush grounds, as part of 'adjustments' made to maximize the 96-year-old's 'comfort'.

Always one to dress for the theme, the monarch wore a silk floral dress and fuchsia pink coat by Stewart Parvin - a color choice that had likely inspired Sophie's soft pink ensemble. She accessorized the outfit with white gloves, black loafers, and pearl jewelry - as well as that Queen's megawatt smile we all know and love.
Perhaps the most exciting part of Her Majesty's visit to the Chelsea Flower Show was the moment she inspected the Platinum Jubilee arrangement by A-list florist Simon Lycett. The beautiful display, which features a silhouette of the monarch with 70 terracotta pots, was designed to celebrate the 70-year-long reign of the royal matriarch.
