Prince Harry might have just revealed Meghan Markle's first major project since their return - and it may come sooner than we think
Prince Harry attended the WellChild Awards on Monday evening - and he might have snagged Meghan a new job at the same time
Talk about a multi-tasker - while supporting the WellChild Awards 2026, Prince Harry might have just set up a comeback gig for his wife, Meghan Markle.
At the awards, Harry spoke with Magic Radio presenter Gaby Roslin. Gaby took it upon herself to offer Harry and Meghan a show on Magic - a radio station the Duchess of Sussex has previously revealed she was a huge fan of - and then the Magic radio boss was roped in on the spot.
Appearing just off-camera, Harry joked that he and Gaby’s boss, Paul, would "have a word" and a "serious conversation" about the possibility of Meghan hosting her own Christmas show for the radio station.
The interview started with Prince Harry showing his playful side and doing his impression of the Magic Radio slogan. After being a good sport, Gaby proposed, “Do you want a show on Magic? Your wife could do a show on Magic. She loves Magic!”
Harry confirmed that Meghan did indeed love the station. When pressed on whether she’d actually want her own show, Harry joked, “We haven’t talked about it, but I can take this back to her.”
Deciding that she should do a Christmas show, Gaby then pointed to her boss who was just off camera, to whom Harry declared, “We’re going to have a word” before adding, “Finally you’ve come, we need to have a serious conversation”.
Could what started out as a joke become something more real?
This is surely great news for fans of the Duchess who has gone on record as being a fan of the station in the past. On the second season of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, she told Queer Eye star Tan France that Magic Radio was "one of the things I miss most about the UK".
Magic’s Content Director, Paul Sylvester - likely the same Paul from Gaby Roslin’s video - has reportedly extended an offer to the Duchess in the past. Per The Telegraph, an "offer [was] on the table" before the pair left for Montecito.
He reportedly told a RadioCentre conference, "We had conversations with the Sussex team and if the Duchess would like to add radio presenter to her CV there is an offer on the table."
Now that they’re back in the UK - for however long that will turn out to be - could the stars be aligning for a Merry Meghan Magic radio slot?
Hosting a radio show wouldn't be too far from Meghan's comfort zone. The former Suits star has already fronted two of her own podcasts. As part of their much-publicised Spotify deal, Meghan hosted 12 episodes of the Archetypes podcast in 2022, and she later fronted Confessions of a Female Founder in 2025.
