Prince William being named 'world's sexiest bald man' is causing quite the stir on social media.

It's a hotly contested title, but it seems the Prince has added another title to his name. The not very scientific Google study conducted by Longevita, a cosmetic surgery specialist, found that the Duke of Cambridge has been called 'sexy' in various online articles, reports and blog posts no fewer than 17.6 million times, says The Sun newspaper. That's more than any other bald man.

It's no mean feat as the competition was fierce, with Prince William beating the likes of boxing megastar Mike Tyson who came in second place with 8.8 million 'sexy' mentions. Actor Jason Statham, basketball legend Michael Jordan and musician Pitbull also polled well.

Other contenders for the top prize were Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson - also known as The Rock.

After the list was made public, many shared their thoughts on social media. Stanley Tucci fans, in particular, have been very vocal on the new poll, voicing their uproar about the 'erasure' of the actor.

A now-viral tweet from writer Bolu Babalola, author of Love in Colour, was among those pointing out that Tucci is a worthier winner, vowing 'Stanley Tucci I will avenge you.'

Tucci, who has starred in multiple films and TV shows delighted fans at the start of the pandemic by sharing a cocktail-making tutorial on social media.

The video went viral in April last year, with even The Guardian writing a feature on “Why is Stanley Tucci making a negroni so hot?”

Tucci himself responded with a tongue-in-cheek post on Instagram captioned 'Whose crown should wear this crown? So many wonderful choices'.
