Prince Charles' cake cutting appears to be exactly as strange and hilarious as the manner in which his dear mama does it too. On further investigation, this method seems to be a favored one of the Prince—much to the delight of amused onlookers.

Prince Charles' cake stabbing was unleashed at a public engagement in Northern Ireland alongside his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall. The hilarious moment mirrors the Queen's cake cutting at a Platinum Jubilee tea party, which stunned royal fans.

Every family has its quirks and the Royal Family are no different. Although many of these eccentricities remain secret, the unusual way in which Their Royal Highnesses divide up baked goods is plain to see.

Instead of the traditional way, going at it on the diagonal, Prince Charles and other members of The Firm favor gripping it the knife like a dagger and stabbing the cake—before brandishing it for their adoring fans.

The Royal Family's cake habits may be out in the open, but for a lot of royal fans, there's an ongoing fascination with what they eat from day to day.

Who could forget Prince Charles’ very unusual lunch habit? This, which was revealed by a royal correspondent, is one of the countless whisperings surrounding what's ingested by Royal Family.

From the claim that the Queen eats hamburgers in the weirdest way to Princess Anne's unusual breakfast choice—there's even a list of common foods the Royal Family are banned from eating!

Although that list exists, it's not clear if there are any foods they're allowed to cut with the same gusto as cake.
