Prince Andrew will be leaving his Scottish hideaway in order to be by his eldest daughter’s side who has just given birth to a baby daughter.
- Prince Andrew has spent weeks in the Scottish royal residence, Balmoral Castle.
- It has been reported by an insider that the Prince will leave this retreat in order to be with his daughter Princess Beatrice.
- In other royal news, Princess Eugenie reveals the sweet moment Prince Philip met baby August.
Prince Andrew was spotted at Balmoral in August 2021 and has since been staying at the royal castle amid the news that he is being sued by Virginia Giuffre.
Virginia's legal team served legal papers notifying Prince Andrew of the civil court case, alleging sexual abuse against the royal, to his Windsor-based residence, Royal Lodge. However, the Prince has remained at Balmoral Castle and has avoided being served with this lawsuit. Prince Andrew maintains he's innocent of any wrongdoing whatsoever.
Despite his long stay in Scotland, it is thought that the birth of his second grandchild may encourage the Duke of York to leave Balmoral Castle in order to be by his daughter's side.
A Balmoral insider told The Sun (opens in new tab), “Prince Andrew obviously hasn’t wanted to leave Balmoral when lawyers are still trying to serve the lawsuit papers but his daughter comes first and he will want to be there for her."

The source revealed, “He could end up staying on the estate and waiting for Beatrice to come to him once she’s given birth. But I’m sure he will want to go to her."
Princess Beatrice was been rushed to hospital over the weekend. It is thought that she was accompanied by her husband Edordardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Princess Beatrice announced her pregnancy earlier in the year and the royal has just given birth to a baby girl.
The Princess' daughter is the 12th great-grandchild for the Queen and the first child for the Princess and her husband Edoardo. Edoardo already has a son named Wolfie to whom the Princess is a stepmother.
Princess Beatrice's newborn child is 11th in the royal line of succession, followed by her sister Princess Eugenie and her newborn son August Brooksbanks, who bears a striking resemblance to the Queen according to a photo taken of him recently.
