Princess Beatrice announces she is pregnant in a heartwarming post

Princess Beatrice has just announced that she and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are expecting a child in Fall. The couple released a statement on social media with their exciting news.

The Royal family has revealed that Princess Beatrice is pregnant with a heartwarming post. The royal family account stated, "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year."

The announcement also revealed that the royal family was very happy with this news. The caption read, "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

The caption was accompanied by a lovely image of Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo on their wedding day in July 2020.

Princess Beatrice does not have social media herself so the news of her upcoming motherhood was announced through social media accounts belonging to the royal family.

This newborn will be the half-sibling to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi son from a previous relationship, Christopher. Christopher is affectionately known as 'Wolfie' by his family and when he was just four years old when he served as a page boy and best man at his father's wedding to Princess Beatrice.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were married in a private ceremony on 17th July 2020. The couple was married at The Royal Chapel of All Saints, a small chapel at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Royal Lodge is the residence of Princess Beatrice's parents Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. 

Although the wedding took place during the pandemic, the couple were able to have a few guests including Princess Beatrice's grandmother, the Queen, and her late grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The Queen currently has 10 great-grandchildren, with the recent addition of Princess Eugenie's son August, and Zara Tindall's son Lucas, pushing the monarch into double figures. 

The Queen is also expecting another arrival as Meghan Markle announced her pregnancy with a daughter in February. This means that the Queen can greet four more great-grandchildren in the space of one year!

The royal family revealed that Princess Beatrice is expecting her baby in the autumn, but this is all that they have revealed for the moment.
