Mia Tindall wears Royal Family hand-me-down as young royals joke around during Prince Philip's memorial service
Mia Tindall wears Royal Family hand-me-down to memorial service as the Queen's great-grandchildren display their close relationship

Mia Tindall wore a royal family hand-me-down to the Duke of Edinburgh's thanksgiving service that took place at Westminster Abbey.
- On March 29, the Royal Family gathered to remember Prince Philip and pay tribute to his memory.
- While at the service, younger members of the royal family showed their close bonds as they joked together and shared clothes.
- In other royal news, Lady Louise's poignant message to Prince Philip shows that although he's gone, their bond will always remain.
It may be easy to think that a family as wealthy as the Royals does not need to share clothes and wouldn't think to pass hand-me-downs to younger members of the Royal Family.
However, at Prince Philip's memorial service on Tuesday, March 29, it was clear that some of the Queen's great-grandchildren are in the habit of sharing clothes with one another once the elder has grown out of them.
Mia Tindall, the eldest of Zara and Mike Tindall's children, was seen wearing a coat that once belonged to her cousin Savannah. Savannah Philips—the daughter of Peter Philips and his ex-wife Autumn—is now 11 but was pictured in 2017 aged nearly 7 years old wearing an identical coat to Mia's at the Royal Family's Christmas service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate.
It appears that as Savannah has now grown out of this coat, her parents had the thrifty idea to give it to her younger cousin, 8-year-old Mia. This coat is no longer sold in stores but was the Monsoon Mia Military Coat in Navy which retails at £79.

During Prince Philip's memorial, all eyes were on the younger members of the royal family. Only half of the Queen's great-grandchildren were able to attend as many were considered to be too young to attend this church service.
Savannah and her younger sister Isla were suppressing their giggles as they sat in the pews ahead of the service. Their father, Peter, also laughed as his daughters seemingly made witty comments and joked around trying to make each other laugh.
Other royals were also encouraged to smile and be happy during this royal engagement which was described as a 'thanksgiving' and celebration of the Duke of Edinburgh's life rather than a memorial.
Kate Middleton's supportive words to calm Princess Charlotte at the memorial service were revealed by a lip reader who said that the Duchess reassured the young Princess and told her that she was allowed to smile at this event for the cameras. Later, Princess Charlotte's adorable reaction to cameras had royal fans in tears as the younger generation of the Royal Family continued to steal the spotlight during the service.
